Branislav Micusik gives a talk at the 26th Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision Colloquium which will take place in April 15, 2010 at the Centre of Machine Perception (CMP) in Prague. He will talk about our recent research in calibrating single cameras with unknown focal length based on human shapes which is highly relevant in automated video surveillance. In contrast to the traditional vanishing point approach, this approach shows experimentally significant improvement in robustness.
